Join our Adult Sewing Classes for all levels. Bootcamp  meets twice a week for 8 weeks or join a group class once a week for 8 weeks. 

*Beginners will learn the basics of sewing in just a few weeks.

Class Schedule: Class meets every Friday - 5 PM - 8 PM, Saturday or Sunday 3PM - 6PM.  You select the day that works best for you, so you can begin your 8 week session at anytime. During the 8 weeks you will learn how to master many sewing skills in a short period of time.  It is packed with information that will have you feeling confident and prepared to sew for yourself and others.  

You will learn how to hand sew, operate a sewing machine, and a serger, enabling you to create fabulous in/outdoor soft furnishings, cute clothes, accessories and more.  Get ready to sew your own fabulous and stylish wardrobe for any season.

Absolute Beginner - Intermediate Class : Home Workshop and Alteration Basics.

 

Home Workshop

Spruce up any room in your home for any season as you learn how to design and sew your own luxurious bedding, comfy and decorative couch throws and pillows, wall art, laundry & shoe bags, table settings, aprons, and much more.

Alteration Basics:

Many clothes are produced in a standard size based on the size charts provided by the designer or manufacture.  As we know people come in all shapes and sizes, there's nothing average or standard about women and men.  That's where alterations come in, everyone wants to look their best, but paying for alterations can get very costly.  In our Alterations Basics session you will learn how to hem pants and skirts, take in or let out a waist, shorten jacket sleeves, repair rips, convert baggy jeans into skinny jeans, patching clothes, converting dresses into skirts, adding darts to make clothes fit better, lengthening clothes and more.

Intermediate -  Advance Class: Sleepwear Workshop, Accessories & Knitwear Workshop, And Wardrobe Essentials. 

Sleepwear Workshop:

Stay comfortable and stylish 24 hours a day, while you sleep, work, or lounge, at home or while on vacation in your sleepwear, lounge wear, robes, leggings, shorts, and joggers with a matching hoodie. You will learn how to sew with super soft, knit and cotton fabric, fleece, satin, lace, corduroy, flannel, denim, and more.

Accessories  & Knitwear Workshop:

If you want to look fashionable during anytime of the year you will learn how to sew flowing cotton scarves, sun and bucket hats, beanies and headbands, scrunchies, ties, wraps, ponchos, or/and shawls, and belts.   Learn how to personalize accessories by choosing your favorite colors and fabric for that perfect fit and learn the many ways you can make it your own individual style.  Complete your look with a self-made collection of fabulous handbags, tote bags, beach bags, a backpack, cosmetic bag,  a weekender, and more. Choosing from an array of fabrics such as: denim, suede, and canvas, fabric.  Some made with pockets, zippers, buttons, tassels, and a lining to ensure a great fit and a unique shape.  

 

Wardrobe Essentials Workshop - (Design your own wardrobe)If you want to dress casual or dressy for your 9-5 or on weekends, you will learn how to sew cute tops, dresses, skirts, pants, shorts, and much more.  Spruce up your year-round wardrobe by learning how to sew with cozy and comfy fabrics.

 

Each student receives a complete sewing kit.

Sewing machines, fabric, and all supplies are provided- you can bring your own.  

 

Total cost= $700.00 for  Bootcamp which meets twice each week for 8 weeks. Bootcamp consists of: 48 hours of hands on sewing instruction, all of the fabric, thread, buttons, zippers, trim, elastic, and more needed to complete all projects.  Free use of sewing machines, you get to keep the commercial patterns that you use, as well as the wonderful garments and home decor you make, a complete sewing kit, and tons of fun.  

 

Payment option #1 - (payment in full) payment option #2 - (Two payments of $350.00 (week 1 & 3)

payment option #3 - One payment of $350.00, next two payments of $175.00(weeks 3 & 5).

Or you can join us for group class.

Total cost = $ 450.00 for group classes which meets once a week for 8 weeks.  Group classes consists of: 24 hours of hands on sewing instruction, free use of sewing machines, fabric, thread, commercial patterns you get to keep, awesome garments and soft home furnishings you make and take home, all supplies needed to complete each project, and tons of fun.  Payment option #1 (payment in full ) Payment option #2 (two payments of $225.00 week 1 & 3).

Payments can be paid with cash, cash app, or Zelle.
